While Instagram is where it's at for photos and videos, Threads takes everything amazing about Instagram and brings that same energy to text. This means you get a positive and creative space to express your ideas. So, just like on Instagram, you can follow and connect with your friends and fave creators who share your interests—both on and off Instagram. 

Instagram Threads is just like any other social platform—it allows you to share text-based content. Not just that, you can also include links, photos, and videos in your posts.

Thinking of having Threads for your business or content? Here are the  key things to know:

  • You can connect Threads to your Instagram account.

  • Your posts can be up to 500 characters long.

  • You can include links, photos, and videos (up to five minutes long) in your posts.

  • You have the option to have a public or private Threads account.

  • You can choose who can reply to your posts on Threads: anyone, profiles you follow, or only profiles you mention.

  • Deleting your Threads account will not delete your Instagram account.
